Scripted Ink: a shot in the arm for Australian screen industry

It’s hoped the new independent agency called Scripted Ink will identify and develop Australian scripts and get them to market. The organisation is hoping to provide some kind of master plan for Australia’s pool of scriptwriters to create high quality Australian-made content for viewers here and overseas. The project is the brainchild of internationally renowned Australian screenwriter Shane Brennan, who has enjoyed extraordinary success in Hollywood with TV series like NCIS, One Tree Hill and CSI. And with the support of Australian Writers Guild, he’s personally donating $1 million as seed funding for the foundation. Read more.
